The Govt and city turned Dr. King’s neighborhood into an official US National Park. This has got to be one of the coolest ‘parks’ I’ve been to. They done a great job at restoring many of these old homes, some of which are still inhabited by I’m assuming the original families. You park your car and then you just walk up and down the street. There are display stands that tell us a little bit about the neighborhood’s history.
