Here is a video clip that shows how conditions were like if we were driving through a Hurricane Katrina storm 10 years ago.
Appreciate everything you have. The people here in the Lower 9th of New Orleans lost everything due to 10 to 15 ft high floods. The federal and local governments didn’t do much except cut back on public benefits and demolished public housing for the poor, which of course helped those affected. Not. Only around 30% of pre-Katrina residents in this marginalized community have returned, 10 years later.
